The Southern Fire Exchange together with The Nature Conservancy (TNC)-LANDFIRE team are hosting a webinar with Randy Swaty, TNC LANDFIRE ecologist. 

The LANDFIRE team has been learning that through the use of State and Transition Models partnerships can be built, the understanding of ecosystems improved, potential management scenarios tested, and potential climate change impacts can be explored. In this webinar, Swaty will give a tour of the LANDFIRE Biophysical Settings Models: the modeling software used, and ways users can expand upon work already completed by LANDFIRE. The featured ST-Sim software and reference condition models are all free and relatively easy to use.
