This webinar provides an introduction to the new edition of the Rainbow series that provides fire and land management professionals and policy makers with a greater understanding of the value of cultural resource protection and the methods available to evaluate and mitigate risks to cultural resources. The purpose of the synthesis is to provide cultural resource/archaeologists with fire effects basics, to provide fire managers with the cultural resource/archaeology basics, facilitate interdisciplinary planning and implementation, and to minimize interdisciplinary conflicts. This webinar was hosted by the Southwest Fire Science Consortium.
