Wildfires are a problem in virtually every part of the United States, and wildfire agencies have largely been unable to reduce wildland/urban interface destruction through traditional fire response procedures. NFPA uses the latest knowledge and resources to bring you this 2-day seminar, which is designed to:

  • Increase your understanding and competency in wildland/urban interface fire mitigation.
  • Assist wildfire mitigation and prevention professionals, regardless of organizational affiliation, in assessing risks to individual homes in wildland, forested, or grassland areas.
  • Encourage and make recommendations for corrective mitigation measures to residents and homeowner associations.
