Interested managers are invited to join calls every other month to share experiences with, and learn about, the latest scientific knowledge and tools for fire and fuels management in the Northern Rockies. 

On the June 27, 2013 Network of Fire Science Champions call, Dan Jimenez, RXCadre Project Manager, provided an overview of an integrated research project that provides data for modeling fuels, atmospheric conditions, fire behavior, smoke and fire effects.

  • Role of experimental forests and variation among them

  • A report on the Northern Rockies Fire Science Network's recent field trip on integrated fuel treatment in Priest River, Idaho
