Oregon State University and the Northwest Fire Science Consortium are hosting a workshop and field tour for land managers. Participants will spend half the day in the classroom with riparian fire experts and half the day in the field getting hands-on experience. The instructors will guide participants as they explore key questions surrounding riparian area management in fire-prone environments.
Foresters, Hydrologists, Fisheries Biologists, Wildlife Biologists, Fuel Planners, Regulatory Agency Staff, Watershed Council Members, Landowners, Students and others will benefit from attending this event. The 1.5-day workshop will explore key questions surrounding riparian area management in a fire-prone environment. The field tour will explore riparian areas of the Klamath-Siskiyous.
