The Student of Fire Initiative at the University of Idaho is offering this course for Fall '26. All courses are
administered virtually through the Wildland Fire Learning Portal with a combination of self-paced lessons
and exercises and live-online meetings.

Cost: $300

A skills focused course designed to prepare the developing fireline supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations. 

Total Course Hours: 40 hours (24 hours of interactive self-paced lessons, 16 hours of live/online
meetings).
Prerequisites: S-190 Introduction to Fire Behavior
