The Southern Sierra Prescribed Fire Council has partnered with the Northern California Prescribed Fire Council and other agencies and organizations to bring you a fall conference. The two-day conference is focused on increasing the pace and scale of fire-based treatments in California, including both managed wildfire and landscape-scale prescribed fire.

The conference aims to:

• provide a scientific framework for the issues
• identify and discuss limiting factors
• outline next steps for collective action

The conference will be focused on science and management in California, but we invite out-of-state participation and highlight examples at the regional, state, and national levels that may be transferable or informative to wide-ranging efforts.
