This 3-day workshop is available to governmental agencies, educators and students, NGOs, Tribes, or the public. Participants will deepen their understanding of springs ecosystems, ecological integrity, natural and cultural resources, stewardship, restoration, monitoring, field data collection, and information management. Also discussed will be how springs ecosystems and springs-dependent species are likely to be affected by climate change. The workshop consists of classroom presentations and discussions, as well as hands-on field inventory and assessment training each day.
