"This program offers an introductory immersion into wildland firefighting for women pursuing careers in fire or related fields. Participants will undergo essential Red Card certification courses, complemented by hands-on field days and exposure to a prescribed burn. Moreover, the program aims to foster connections between attendees and seasoned female firefighters, researchers, and practitioners within a supportive and inclusive setting."

The program is sponsored by the University of Montana Fire Center and run by graduate students and staff. The deadline to apply is currently listed as September 24.
