From the Idaho Forest Restoration Partnership

"The Idaho Forest Restoration Partnership is hosting a two-day conference in April titled 'The Evolving Framework for Collaborative Restoration.' The event’s invited keynote speakers are two recent appointments in the Department of Agriculture.  Kristin Sleeper will serve as the Deputy Under Secretary of Natural Resources and Environment.  Tom Schultz was appointed as Chief of the U.S. Forest Service.  Chief Schultz brings to the position his years of Idaho forest management experience in both public and private sectors (see agenda & bios below).

IFRP invites the public to join us at the Barber Park Education and Event Center as Schultz and other members of Forest Service leadership will talk about the agency’s priorities heading into the future and how those priorities will affect our grassroots mission to restore the resilience of Idaho’s forests."
