Building workforce capacity and encouraging future generations of fire and fuels professionals is a key topic for many groups, and one way to do this is through student fire associations. The Northern Rockies Fire Science Network spoke with members of two such organizations (University of Montana's Fire Club and University of Idaho's SAFE Club) in the region to get their perspectives on how these groups help prepare the next generation.
