Workforce development and the education of the next generation of fire and fuels professionals is a key component of successful future management. For some people, student fire associations have played a key role in their professional development. Northern Rockies Fire Science Network talked with members of two organizations (University of Montana's Fire Club and University of Idaho's SAFE Club) to get their perspectives on the benefits and potential of student fire associations in the region.
