Stanford University’s Bill Lane Center for the American West invites you to join a keynote on wildfire mitigation in the age of COVID-19. This event is the second in a series of talks that adapt information they had originally hoped to cover in their March Workshop on Wildfire Management). In this keynote, Sarah McCaffrey will highlight aspects of US Forest Service research that examines wildfire risk perceptions, incentives for creation and maintenance of defensible space, and key factors to consider in preparing for wildfire given the double threats of wildfires and COVID-19.
